Snoop Dogg is Now a Fan of Houston’s Own Turkey Leg Hut – Eater

While in Houston performing his stage play Redemption of a Dogg, Calvin “Snoop Dogg” Broadus became a fan of a beloved Space City eatery.

The Turkey Leg Hut provided catering for Snoop’s show over the weekend, and he found a whole lot to be excited about. Yesterday, Snoop posted about the Turkey Leg Hut’s stunning smothered turkey legs on Instagram with a hearty endorsement. “The turkey legs were it!!,” he wrote in the post, complete with a turkey emoji. According to an Eater tipster, Snoop Dogg’s co-star in the play and Houston native LeToya Luckett also checked out the restaurant while she was visiting her hometown.

For those unfamiliar with the Turkey Leg Hut, the restaurant at 4830 Almeda Road has earned a dedicated local following and visits from plenty of celebrities thanks to their “famous” stuffed and smothered turkey legs. Rockets player James Harden is also a noted fan.

Check the love for one of Houston’s favorites for yourself below, and don’t be surprised if the Turkey Leg Hut is packed for weeks after this major endorsement.
